You mad that you had an awesome filtered picture to take yesterday and the rest of the world couldn’t see it because Instagram was down? Well after reading all of the freak out Tweets we had to look into what was happening. The reason for the disruption was a crash at Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud in North Virginia. The area was hit with a major storm which disrupted communications between servers. Netflix and Pinterest were down also. Hopefully they get up and working again soon, but try not to worry about your apps too much, who you have around you is most important.
